Mark Volman.

This 13 April 2008 interview came about as Mark
Volman was promoting the reissue of the first two Flo & Eddie albums in
a single set on Manifesto Records. Of course, with someone like Mark, we
couldn’t talk about just that. We compare and contrast his time with the
edgy Frank Zappa as well as The Turtles, accidentally commercially
successful as they were. Mark Volman also has a career as an academic
and we hear Professor Flo lecture on the role Marc Bolan (T. Rex) had as
a catalyst for punk rock.

with David Minnick, also of The Sursiks, tells the unbelievable tale of
The 180 G’s. This Michigan gospel group approaches the Negativland
songbook with artistry and skill on the CD "180 d’Gs To The Future!".
Here songs like "Christianity Is Stupid", "I Am God", and "Theme From A
Big 10-8 Place" take on new life in a multi-part vocal harmony
presentation as an homage to their pastor, Reverend Al "Sugar" Sweet.
