The Emergence of Paul Simon (Photo by: Rahav Segev)

PI-0013 - Feature: The Emergence of Paul Simon:

Producer Paul Ingles hosts "The Emergence of Paul Simon," an engrossing two-hour special on the creative output of heralded songwriter Paul Simon.  Hour 1 starts with some of Simon's most recent music (from "Surprise," 2006), then takes you back to Paul Simon in the 1960's.

Ingles draws from archival interviews with Simon and an impressive guest roster to explore how Simon connected with audiences in the 1960s as part of Simon & Garfunkel, in the 1970s as a solo artist and in the 1980s when he re-emerged as a world star with the release of his Graceland album.  See a longer description of this feature >>>
